Within 4 months from the last entry to Cyprus, European Union citizens who wish to take up employment in Cyprus need to obtain an EU Registration Certificate under the ‘Employment status’. Their family members will also need to register.

EU nationals wishing to reside in Cyprus can do so by obtaining an EU Registration Certificate under the following statuses:

• By transferring funds from abroad for their relocation to Cyprus,
  OR
• as a Pensioner.
