The 13th TechIsland HR Community Meetup will bring together HR professionals, business leaders and experts for an open conversation about mental health in the workplace — and what it takes to turn care into meaningful action.
What does it really mean for an organisation to take employee mental health seriously?
Our panel, “Mental Health in the Workplace: Turning Care Into Action,” will explore how companies and employee benefit providers can move beyond good intentions and build practical support into the employee experience. From creating psychologically safe workplaces and encouraging open conversations, to providing the right benefits, tools and support systems, we will look at what effective mental health support can mean in practice. The discussion will also consider the roles of HR, leadership and benefit providers in creating environments where employees feel safe, supported and comfortable speaking up — and how care can become part of company culture rather than simply another HR initiative.

Special Fireside Chat with Marcos Baghdatis
We will close the programme with a special fireside chat featuring Marcos Baghdatis, one of Cyprus’ most successful athletes: a former professional tennis player who reached World No. 8, a 2006 Australian Open finalist, a Wimbledon semi-finalist and winner of four ATP singles titles. Drawing on a career spent competing at the highest level of professional sport, Marcos will bring a different perspective to the evening: the human side of high performance — dealing with pressure and expectations, navigating setbacks, building resilience and the importance of having the right support around you.
Attendance is free with registration via this link.
The event is powered by Bupa Global, JAAQ and Nicos Rossos Insurance Brokers.
