As part of the collective programme announced in July in response to this year’s wildfires in Cyprus, as a first step, TechIsland has distributed 615 air purifiers to households in affected villages. The initiative was funded through contributions from member companies and professionals across the tech sector, underscoring the ecosystem’s commitment to providing both immediate relief and long-term support.

TechIsland is pleased to announce its new collaboration with Bank of Cyprus, which is joining the organization’s network of Donors. This support marks another significant step in strengthening Cyprus’ technology ecosystem, with the contribution of an institutional organization that has consistently invested in the country’s sustainable progress and economic prosperity.

In light of the recent wildfires that have impacted communities in Cyprus, TechIsland, began an internal outreach effort to raise funds in support of both immediate relief and long-term recovery. 55 companies have already committed to contributing to this collective cause, as well as several individuals working in the tech sector.
