TechIsland and the Cyprus Employers & Industrialists Federation (OEB) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), creating a new framework for collaboration around technology, innovation, entrepreneurship and the future development of the Cypriot economy.

The agreement brings together two organisations representing a significant part of Cyprus’ business and technology ecosystem, with a shared goal: to help create a stronger environment for companies, investors, entrepreneurs and talent to grow in Cyprus.

Through the partnership, TechIsland and OEB will work together on initiatives and policy proposals in areas such as the regulatory and tax framework, physical and digital infrastructure, and the conditions needed to attract and retain investment, businesses and highly skilled professionals.

Another key area of focus will be skills and talent development. The two organisations will explore ways to strengthen digital and technological skills, support upskilling and reskilling, and improve the connection between education, professional training and the real needs of the labour market.

The collaboration reflects a shared belief that technology and innovation can play an increasingly important role in Cyprus’ long-term growth, competitiveness and economic development.

By combining the experience, networks and perspectives of both organisations, TechIsland and OEB aim to contribute to practical initiatives that support a stronger, more connected and future-ready business ecosystem in Cyprus.
